Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data I process when you visit martindasko.eu or contact me through it, why I do so, and what rights you have. It applies to both language versions of the website.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is:
- Martin Daško
- E-mail: info@martindasko.eu
You can contact me at this address with any question about your personal data. I have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for this kind of processing.
2. What data I process and why
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, I process your e-mail address and the text of your message. The message is delivered to my e-mail inbox; the website does not store it in a database.
- Purpose: to reply to your message and, if you are interested, to discuss possible cooperation.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for messages that are not about cooperation, my legitimate interest in replying to messages I receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to deal with your message. If no cooperation follows, I delete the correspondence no later than 2 years after our last communication.
- Providing the data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address I cannot reply to you.
Price calculator
The price calculator on the Pricing page sends me the services and options you select, your notes and the date you enter. It does not ask for your name or e-mail address. If you write personal data into the notes (for example contact details), I process it only to prepare a quote for you.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention: the same as for the contact form.
If we work together
If we conclude a contract, I process the data needed to perform it and to issue invoices (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and I keep the documents required by accounting and tax laws for the periods those laws set (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Visiting the website
When you open any page, my hosting provider's server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider keeps these records for a limited time.
Website analytics – only with your consent
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, the website loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics collects information about your visit – for example the pages you view, the time spent on the website, the website you came from, your device and browser type and your approximate location (country or city) – and stores a random identifier in a cookie. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. I use this information only in aggregated form, to understand how the website is used and to improve it.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications).
- Retention: Google Analytics keeps the data for at most 14 months; cookie lifetimes are listed in the table below.
- Withdrawing consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it, via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
If you do not click “Accept”, no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
YouTube videos
Videos are played through YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The YouTube player is loaded only after you click a video. At that moment your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your device, and YouTube may store data in your browser (cookies or local storage). The legal basis for loading the player after your click is my legitimate interest in presenting my work in the way you have requested (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. If you do not want this, do not play the videos.
Links to social networks
The website links to my Instagram profile. This is an ordinary link – Instagram (Meta) receives data about you only if you click it and open its website.
3. Who receives the data
- Websupport s.r.o. (Slovakia) – web hosting, e-mail inbox and sending e-mails from the website; processes data on my behalf.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) – the Gmail service, to which messages from my inbox are forwarded; Google Analytics (only with your consent).
- Google as an independent controller when you play a YouTube video.
- Public authorities, only where the law requires it.
I do not sell your personal data.
4. Transfers outside the EU
Google may also process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision; Google also uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. Automated decision-making
I do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it (Art. 15),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
- have your data erased (Art. 17),
- restrict processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
- withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).
To exercise these rights, write to info@martindasko.eu. I will reply without undue delay, and in any case within one month.
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
7. Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser; the browser's local storage works in a similar way. Without your consent I may store only what is strictly necessary for the website to work – everything else only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time:
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics.
8. Changes to this policy
I will update this policy whenever the way I process data changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
